METEOROLOGY

Rich Fields is an Emmy Award winning television news veteran. He completed his meteorology internship in 2001 at WFLA, Tampa, FL. Rich later moved on to KPSP, Palm Springs, CA where he would eventually become the station's Chief Meteorologist. In 2010, Rich accepted a position as a Staff Meteorologist for CBS News, Los Angeles (KCBS & KCAL9) where he would work for six and a half years. After leaving CBS LA and moving back home to Florida, Rich worked as a staff meteorologist with WTSP, the CBS affiliate in Tampa, Florida until he retired in 2023.
